Join the National Association of School Nurses on September 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM ET for a free webinar that explores the Type 1 Diabetes screening process, helping school nurses identify students at risk of developing diabetes or already exhibiting signs, and enabling the initiation of the referral process. 1.0 NCPD contact hour available.  
Dr. Christine March, a Pediatric Endocrinologist at UPMD Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, is sharing scientific content. Webinar faculty includes Elizabeth Elliott, President of the Maryland Association of School Health Nurses (MASHN) and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and Eileen Wallace, a certified school nurse from Pennsylvania.  Learn more and register HERE.

Research Focus: 
  • What prevents effective T1D education in schools? 
  • How can we better support students and nurses?
Seeking: Maryland K-12 RNs with 4+ years of experience (2+ in school nursing) who have cared for T1D students in the past 5 years.
Participation: 30-45 minute Zoom interview at your convenience.
