Greetings, Maryland School Nurses!

MASHN is sharing updates, including professional development opportunities, updated allergy and asthma information and resources, and a special opportunity for students with cancer and their siblings.

3.  The Allergy and Asthma Network is a trusted resource for up-to-date, accurate, and relevant information about allergies, asthma, and related conditions. Please see the attached flyer designed for school nurses, which has QR codes that will direct you to resources to enhance your nursing practice.

4.  Horizon Day Camp is located in Baltimore and hosts Maryland's first and only free full-day summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings.  The camp provides a wonderful opportunity for families impacted by cancer and runs from June 18 to August 6.  See the attached flyer for more and share with families who may benefit!  Horizon Day Camp also hires nurses in the summer and offers scheduling flexibility.
