MASHN congratulates Aprille Schuyler, the School Nurse of the Year and recipient of a scholarship to NASN2022, the National Association of School Nurses annual conference in July 2022, and to the MASHN conference scheduled in March, 2023. Aprille is the School Nurse at James M. Bennett High School in Wicomico County.
Aprille is dedicated and committed and always seeks to develop better processes to support student health. She rises above and beyond every day for her assigned school and the school district. Aprille consistently seeks out professional development opportunities. She is cheerful and completes both anticipated and unanticipated tasks with a smile on her face. She provided exemplary service to meet the needs of students and school staff during remote learning due to COVID.
MASHN is honored to recognize Aprille for her dedication to school nursing.
