The American Academy of Pediatrics is recruiting 20 practices to join a 10-month QI collaborative to improve access to quality healthcare for Children and Youth with Epilepsy (CYE). Practices will engage in the ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) model, a telementoring platform that leverages video conference technology to connect experts with primary care teams in local communities, fostering an “all teach, all learn” approach. Participating practice teams will test, implement and disseminate strategies that lead to improved epilepsy management. Pediatric practices interested in developing sustainable approaches to epilepsy management are encouraged to apply.
