Kelly Busin, MSN, RN is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital's Pediatric Diabetes Clinic. Kelly is passionate about enhancing diabetes care in the school setting. She chairs the Johns Hopkins School Nurse Education Workgroup and is a member of the Maryland Diabetes in School Work Group and the ADA Safe At School Working Group.

Mr. La Point is NASN’s Accredited Provider Program Director for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to maintain the association’s accreditation status for Nursing Continuing Professional Development, including online learning education, and is NASN’s lead nurse planner for the annual conferences. He has 24 Years as a Registered Nurse in Texas, and 20 Years in School Nursing. He is a former School Nursing Consultant for the Texas Education Service Center Region 20 in San Antonio and has 15 years of emergency nursing experience.
